, ultimately landed in the hospital on May 3.

Once Doute observed that her feet were unusually swollen, she hurriedly went to Cedar-Sinai Medical Center to ensure everything was fine.

Thirty-three weeks and four days,” she revealed in an Instagram Story post from her hospital bed. “There’s some slight swelling in my foot, so we want to ensure it isn’t a blood clot.

She mentioned that her soon-to-be-born baby girl was “thoroughly monitored” and appeared to be in good shape.

“You can hear her heartbeat,” she continued. “She was kicking a lot yesterday, so hopefully everything’s fine. It’s my first time here.”

One hour later, Doute came back to her Instagram Story to provide fans with an update.

She shared, “Everything is fine,” mentioning her release from the hospital. “I’m becoming quite emotional. This was my first experience delivering a baby in this hospital. The staff has been wonderful; everyone has been so kind. It all went smoothly and didn’t cause much worry for me. It’s nothing serious like a blood clot—it’s simply a cyst. I suppose these things can happen occasionally. But why do I feel so emotional?”

During her brief trip to the hospital, the doctors told her that she was experiencing some contractions.

“I have no idea what contractions feel like,” she explained. “I’m really intrigued by first-time moms—how did you realize things were happening? I suppose you just understand when it’s time to go into labor, but I haven’t experienced that yet… Anyway, here’s the latest on the baby. Everything is great with her.”

Doute emphasized again that she felt emotional in her caption accompanying the video post, stating, “Right now, I’m feeling super emo. I have access to the finest medical professionals globally, and every woman at Cedars is amazing. Although the unfamiliar territory can be daunting, I’m truly happy I had the chance to visit what our space might look like around six weeks from now!”

Initially, Doute shared the news about her baby with
fiancé

Luke Broderick

in November 2024.

Following our pregnancy loss last year, we resolved to begin attempting again in early 2024,” Doute shared with
People
At that point, “I was aware that my age might affect getting pregnant, so Luke and I talked about seeking additional assistance.”

During late summertime, we chose to consult a fertility specialist to explore our choices and understand the subsequent steps should we decide to proceed,” she went on. “The following month turned into a flurry of activity as we delved into fertility education and ultimately progressed to hormone injections and readying my body for intrauterine insemination.

She mentioned that waiting for two weeks after her IUI procedure to learn whether she was pregnant felt like an eternity.

To ensure an accurate result from a pregnancy test, two weeks needed to elapse, and I patiently waited for that period. Deep down, though, I felt certain it would be positive,” she recounted. “However, I took the test just a bit too soon and received the unmistakable ‘PREGNANT’ message right away. This filled me with relief, overwhelming emotions, joy, excitement, and some anxiety all at once. As soon as I informed Luke about it, he wasn’t caught off guard; instead, he was incredibly thrilled knowing that intrauterine insemination succeeded on the very first attempt (as we anticipated it might take several tries). His happiness was boundless—words can hardly describe his exuberance! We have set our sights on welcoming our baby in June and eagerly anticipate growing our small family into bigger ones through parenthood!
