On May 5th, personnel were sent to the 10000 block of Mustang Circle because of a worry about someone’s well-being. When they arrived, officers tried to talk to Leroy Sadler, who is 60 years old, inside the house.

Sadler declined to engage with the deputies and subsequently discharged his firearm as they attempted to establish communication.

The sheriff’s department subsequently sent a drone into the house and found Judy Sadler, aged 64, James L. Sadler, 29, and Adalynn Mae Sadler, who was 2 years old, along with Leroy deceased.

After making contact with the neighbors following the discovery, they informed officials that the suspected individual, named Leroy, was known as a “doomsday prepper.” Consequently, the sheriff’s department requested assistance from the Shreveport bomb squad for the search and clearance of the residence.

The house was considered safe, allowing detectives to proceed with their inquiry.

The fatalities of Judy, James, and Adalynn Mae have been recorded as the 13th, 14th, and 15th murders in Caddo Parish for the year 2025, according to information from the coroner’s office.

The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate this incident.
