A female suspect has been apprehended in the U.S. following accusations of forgery and impersonation after she purportedly posed as a nurse, stated authorities from Central Saanich Police.

In a press statement, the Central Saanich Police Department announced that Charrybelle Talaue was apprehended with assistance from the U.S. Secret Service and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after fleeing the province while her case awaited trial.

Talaue, discovered in Idaho, is currently in custody in Canada. Her appearance at the Victoria court is set for May 12.

Talaue faced charges in 2023.
With several charges of fraud, forgery, and impersonation following allegations that she utilized false paperwork to secure a nursing position, police indicate that these offenses likely started in December 2023 and occurred across the area.

Talaue is neither currently nor previously registered as a nurse.

Warnings issued by the B.C. College of Nurses and Midwives and the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta in 2023 cautioned that she might be impersonating a nurse to secure employment at hospitals.

The police indicated their belief that Talaue has sought employment at various healthcare facilities in British Columbia and Alberta using multiple aliases. These alternate identities consist of Charrybelle Perez Talaue, Charrybelle Talaue Baldesancho, Belle Talaue, Belle Marie, Charrybelle Baldesancho, Charie Talaue, Yves Anglehart, Belle Yves Talaue Anglehart, and Yves Belle Anglehart.
