Michael Wacha
In Wednesday’s 2-1 triumph over the White Sox, he threw seven scoreless innings and secured his second victory for the season. During this game, he conceded only three hits and one walk while also recording five strikeouts. This performance marks six consecutive starts where the seasoned 33-year-old pitcher has maintained at least five innings pitched with no more than three runs yielded. Though not overpowering batters, he consistently delivers strong outings, evidenced by an impressive 2.98 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP along with 34 strikeouts across 45 innings this year in 2025. Looking ahead, he aims to continue this form when facing the Astros in their upcoming match in Houston.
