This occurrence frequently takes place in the deserts around the globe during springtime, leading to significant destruction along its route: whole cities enveloped in darkness, an increase in roadway incidents, alongside respiratory issues.
More Intense
As spring arrives in April, May, and June, the clashes between different air masses become particularly pronounced, resulting in highly severe thunderstorms. Although certain areas experience heightened issues with desertification and land degradation because of extensive farming practices, these events aren’t occurring more often; instead, they’re getting stronger, which leads to increased amounts of airborne dust.
