I got an opportunity to try out the
Titanium Always Pan Pro
My favorite feature is its exceptional non-stick performance—this pan ensures absolutely nothing sticks to it. While there is an initial adjustment period, mastering non-stick cooking has become effortless. The primary drawback for me is the distinctive pattern it imprints on cooked foods. Additionally, it comes at a considerable cost, currently priced at $180 after starting from $255. In the following sections, I provide a detailed analysis to assist you in determining whether the updated Titanium Always Pan Pro would be ideal for you or as a gift for someone special.

Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro evaluation

Summary

I’ve experienced numerous problems with various pans. It appears that the non-stick coatings aren’t durable enough to maintain optimal performance for more than a few months. Often, new pans work well initially but gradually develop buildup that cannot be eliminated despite using baking soda, vinegar, and vigorous scrubbing. However, the Titanium Always Pan addresses this problem because it does not rely on a coating; rather, it features stainless steel exterior, an extremely hardened titanium interior, and highly conductive aluminum sandwiched in between (referred to by Our Place as “NoCo” technology).

How to use

  1. Grease the interior of the pan with 1 teaspoon of oil that has a high smoke point (such as

    avocado

    ,

    canola

    or

    peanut oil

    )

  2. Heat the pan for a minimum of 90 seconds before use.

  3. Add the food (it won’t instantly become “non-stick” – the food will release from the pan only after it has finished cooking).

  4. To wash:

Dishwasher safe. Alternatively, clean the interior of the pan using a brush.

    bristle brush

    . Use a

    gentle sponge

For the exterior of the pan.

  5. To store:

Apply 1 teaspoon of the high-smoke point oil to the interior of the pan.

  6. Deep clean:

After some time, when residues accumulate, create a cleaning mixture using baking soda and vinegar and use it to scour the interior of the pan (this concoction works well for the exterior too). As an alternative method, you may also simmer 1 tablespoon of baking soda in water on the stove before proceeding to clean afterwards.

Note:

You can use metallic flatware directly on the pan.

Favorite features: Anti-adhesive, general effectiveness, aesthetics, longevity

Non-stick:

I’ve always struggled with keeping non-stick pans actually non-sticky. The Titanium Always Pan differs from conventional non-stick options as it lacks a coating, which means I can’t mess up anything on this front. However, since it has no coating, it isn’t inherently non-stick; you must use some oil—this adds an element of challenge to mastering its use.

must

Use some oil in this pan to ensure your food doesn’t stick. It took a few stubborn eggs before I learned this lesson.

Overall performance:

The Titanium Always Pan ensures uniform cooking of your food. Previously, I thought my whole condominium might be tilted since eggs would always roll to one edge when placed in a regular pan. It turns out the issue was with the cookware itself. With this Titanium pan, however, the ingredients remain precisely where intended, resulting in even cooking throughout.

Appearance:

I use this pan every day, so I leave it on the stove. The copper and silver tones throughout my kitchen make the Titanium pan fit in perfectly.

Durability:

This sturdy pan is designed for longevity. I own numerous silicone spoons as I’m accustomed to handling more fragile cookware. However, with the Titanium pan, you can utilize metal tools without harming the coating. Additionally, it’s dishwasher-safe, making cleaning hassle-free. The pan has a high heat tolerance of up to 535°C, eliminating concerns over excessive temperatures.

Least disliked aspect: Design on cuisine

Pattern on food:

When preparing delicate or runny dishes such as tofu and pancakes, the pan leaves behind a honeycomb-style imprint on them. This isn’t particularly appealing to me. While this pattern might symbolize the pan’s advanced features, it doesn’t make me appreciate it more. (Perhaps my dislike stems from having only slight

trypophobia

.)

This won’t prevent me from using the pan, as I am fond of its performance.

Recommendation

If you’re considering purchasing a new skillet, I suggest investing in the Titanium Always Pan. While the term “investment” reflects its cost at $255, this price point means it ought to serve you well over many years. Fortunately, you can currently find the pan discounted down to $180.

It also serves as an excellent present for various recipients since you don’t need to be an experienced chef to make use of it—it’s ideal for cooks at every skill level.
