TNT Sports will cover the lead-up to the first-ever mid-season NASCAR event. Their exclusive live racing broadcasts start with the Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday, June 28.
This will be succeeded by four successive Sundays featuring Cup Series races in Chicago, Sonoma, Dover, and Indianapolis. As many viewers prepare to tune in for the broadcasts, TNT Sports has lined up an impressive roster of commentators and analysts.
TNT Sports has put together a comprehensive team of respected analysts, commentators, and pit reporters for the debut of their NASCAR broadcasting. The coverage will be spearheaded by NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr., who boasts two victories at the Daytona 500, working alongside Daytona 500-winning crew chief Steve Letarte and seasoned motorsportscaster Adam Alexander.
Letarte, once a Daytona 500-winning crew chief now turned commentator, has made his mark through his association with Hendrick Motorsports and his role as a primary analyst for NBC Sports. Starting out at just 16 years old, he went on to become one of the youngest crew chiefs in NASCAR’s history when he was only 25. During this time, under his leadership, Jeff Gordon’s No. 24 squad secured 10 victories along with an impressive 76 top-five placements between 2005 and 2010.
