Knoxville, Tenn. (WVLT) — According to Rural Metro Fire, they attended to a major accident on Tuesday evening.
Jeff Bagwell from Rural Metro stated that emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of a two-car collision at the crossing point of Tazewell Pike and East Emory Road approximately at 8:45 p.m.
Upon the arrival of emergency personnel, Bagwell mentioned that an individual was still stuck inside a vehicle that had been involved in the incident. The responders managed to rescue the person and rushed them to the medical facility, where their condition seemed critical.
Collisions mostly happen at intersections,” Bagwell stated. “Make sure to slow down and keep an eye on one another!
