Renowned for its medieval past and mustard production, this Gloucestershire town might be poised to evolve into a paradise for shoppers seeking deals with the advent of a new retail center.
Scheduled to launch in July, the initial stage of the Cotswold Designer Outlet will cover an area of 119,150 square feet of retail space, roughly comparable to the size of Trafalgar Square, along with providing 1,100 parking spots for vehicles.

Brands such as Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas, BOSS, Levi’s, and Sweaty Betty, along with restaurants like Wagamama, Five Guys, Pret a Manger, and Caffe Nero, are part of the 44 companies that have been confirmed thus far.
A number of extra brands reportedly showed interest in stage two of the £30 million project.

Simon Tothill, the property director at developer Robert Hitchins, states that additional names will be unveiled over the next few weeks, with ongoing expansions aimed at solidifying its position as a premier shopping hub attracting visitors from all corners.
It goes beyond stores as well, with plans including amenities such as ‘motorway-pause’ walkways and ‘chill out’ seating, along with play zones designed for both kids and their pets.

This strategic decision was made by the management, aiming to leverage the area’s attractiveness as a destination and provide tourists with an additional ‘day out’ alternative.

Otherwise, frequent train services operate between Gloucester and Ashchurch for Tewkesbury, with each trip lasting roughly 20 minutes.
