Governor Newsom stated that he was unaware of how Harry and Meghan’s security had been managed by the British government following the prince’s loss in the appeal court in London.
However, he continued: ‘I might be partial, but I’m not sure.’

When questioned about whether he implored the King to get involved, he responded, “I didn’t ask for his intervention—I requested that he make room for the professionals to handle things.”
However, he mentioned: “My father holds significant influence and authority, and this entire situation could potentially be addressed without his direct involvement. Instead, it might be resolved if he chooses to step back, permitting the professionals to handle what needs to be done and implement the RMB.”
The UK’s second-highest-ranking judge, Sir Geoffrey Vos, informed the duke that his complaint about reduced protection did not “formulate into a legal case.”
