A few days prior, Nassau Democratic Elections Commissioner James Scheuermann commended Krommidas for his achievements and intellect.

Kromidas, having completed his studies at the private Chaminade High School prior to attending Columbia University, has served as a Democratic Party field organizer in Nassau County since December 2024, according to his LinkedIn profile. Prior to this role, he was involved in private equity and investment banking.

“Chaminade, who graduated from Columbia, worked in finance. He had numerous opportunities but chose instead to dedicate his time to service at just 29 years of age. His dedication is truly brave,” said Scheuermann.
