The wealthiest individual in Australia has advised the Liberal Party against distancing themselves from Trump-like policies and suggested using their significant defeat in the recent federal elections as an opportunity for rebuilding.

Mining tycoon and benefactor Gina Rinehart has addressed the Labor Party’s decisive victory on Saturday by offering supportive remarks to the vanquished Liberal-National alliance.

“Let’s utilize this period to construct and broaden the base of commonsense, reason, and truth,” stated the executive chairman of Hancock Prospecting.

“Australians have decisively voted for the return of the prime minister and the current government, and we should extend our best wishes to him,” stated Ms. Rinehart.

We shouldn’t overlook that numerous returning officials are also parents. Do they genuinely wish to implement ideologically driven policies that could harm the economy and make life difficult for their own kids?

Here is Ms Rinehart’s complete statement after the election outcome was announced.

The liberal-leaning press conducted a highly effective campaign, instilling fear among numerous members of the Liberal Party about embracing anything related to Trump or adopting similar policy positions.

This has become particularly evident this year, with the Liberals now gaining recognition as the ‘me too’ party. Policies similar to ‘make America great again,’ involving reducing governmental red tape, streamlining bureaucracy, and minimizing waste—all aimed at lowering taxes—have not garnered enough attention in Australia this year to be noteworthy.

Undoubtedly, the liberal media will attempt to argue that the Liberal defeat occurred because the Liberal Party mirrored Trump and shifted too far to the right!

These just don’t match up!

Indeed, the defeat was profoundly distressing for the Liberals, emotionally draining for numerous supporters, and both discouraging and concerning for many others. However, it’s crucial not to discard factual analysis and critical thinking. Instead, use this experience as an opportunity to gain insights and reconstruct strategically.

There seems to be a lack of comprehension among too many Australians about the necessity for fresh investments to boost revenues and improve living standards. Additionally, it’s crucial to implement reasonable policies that encourage such investments from the outset, ensuring they take place and support enduring improvements in living standards, opportunities, and employment.

It’s not exactly brain surgery, yet somehow it has become so. We seem to believe that inefficiency-driven, overly funded governmental projects aimed at constructing infrastructure, homes, and more will work seamlessly without repercussions. The top priority for the Liberals should be education, grounded in the time-tested fundamentals of logic and honesty.

When visiting both feet of New York prior to the US elections in November, within a famously liberal and Democratic-leaning neighborhood, I found myself navigating through trash-filled streets and occasionally feeling uneasy regarding personal safety. Wearing my Trump hat and bag was intended to provoke reactions; admittedly, thoughts of rotten eggs and tomatoes crossed my mind as potential projectiles, yet I hoped this would lead to meaningful discussions instead.

The discussions were intense, and here’s what people in their late twenties and thirties shared with me: having been exposed to liberal rhetoric, many found it difficult to marry due to unaffordable housing—not just for ownership but rentals as well. They voiced concerns over their futures, with some in their thirties fearing they might never be able to support a family. Yes, U.S. birthrates had declined. Meanwhile, parents juggling the financial strain of raising young kids echoed similar struggles. Those former young Democrats who grew up under decades of progressive misinformation were now shifting towards Republican views!

Why are Americans receiving it, and we’re not?

Several organizations are striving to restore commonsense and truth in the United States.

It’s not only occurring in the USA; even Argentina, which has been socialist for over a hundred years and where citizens have endured immense hardship, faces similar issues. Countries like Italy, Hungary, and many others are also moving forward, leaving behind the misconceptions or falsehoods propagated by the left-wing ideologies. Instead, they allow their populations to take advantage of the benefits offered by following pragmatic and truthful approaches.

To what extent do the attractiveness of the Paris Accord, inconsistent power supply, Nature Positive Plan, costly governmental bureaucracy, and high-priced governmental involvement draw investments needed to support our quality of life, particularly when considering outdated industrial regulations that were ineffective in boosting productivity but succeeded in causing strikes and instability?

The Minerals Council of Australia shouldn’t be overlooked since they assert that 80 percent of the resource project pipeline has been scrapped. This percentage might even go up, which fills me with concern. Considering how vital this sector is for more than just those directly involved in it, this situation ought to be deeply troubling for all Australians.

However, does this apply only to large corporations, particularly those involved in mining? Actually, even smaller businesses face similar impacts. In fact, less than an hour after the election outcome was announced, a friend of mine—who runs her own startup—mentioned that she plans to shut down operations and relocate abroad due to these changes.

I implored her, please don’t leave, please remain and strive for comprehension regarding the transformations Australia requires.

Canadians have decisively voted for their incumbent prime minister and administration, so we should extend our best wishes. We hope they implement thoughtful policies that do not steer us rapidly towards a situation akin to pre-[President Javier] Milei Argentina.

We might think that due to their decisive victory and the extensive praise from progressive media outlets, arrogance could creep in. As a result, we might believe that addressing national concerns would be futile.

Isn’t that the preferable path forward? Instead of abandoning our nation in the coming years, let’s consider this: Many of those returning to governance have families themselves. Would they truly support ideologically driven policies likely to harm the economy and make things difficult for their own kids?

(I’m not referring to those who advocate for Marxist ideals, as they genuinely desire volatile and costly energy sources, an overwhelming regulatory environment, large-scale governments with significant authority, along with hefty taxation—all of which have historically weighed down our enterprises, residences, financial systems, and nation.)

Let’s utilize this period to construct and broaden the groundwork of commonsense, rationality, and truth.
