A man from Mississippi is facing two felony charges for reportedly crashing through the entrance gate of actress Jennifer Aniston’s Bel-Air home.
Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, aged 48, reportedly crashed his vehicle through
Aniston’s gate
On Tuesday, following more than two years of harassment, the individual was charged. According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney, he reportedly sent unsolicited voice mails, social media communications, and emails to the “Friends” star from March 1, 2023, through May 5, 2025.
Although Aniston was at home when Carwyle smashed through the gate, her
private security detained him
before police arrived.
Prosecutors charged him with stalking and vandalism. If convicted as charged, he faces three years in state prison.
“Stalking can rapidly progress from mere harassment to severe, perilous acts, posing risks to the security of victims and our neighborhoods,” stated District Attorney Nathan Hochman.
Carwyle’s hearing is set for May 8 at the Airport Courthouse. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office stated they intend to request a $150,000 bond.
My office is dedicated to vigorously pursuing individuals who engage in stalking and instilling fear in others, making sure they face consequences,” Hochman stated. “I would like to express my gratitude to law enforcement and our Stalking and Threat Assessment Team, notably Deputy District Attorney Sam Hulefeld, for their exceptional efforts in this matter.
