LOS ANGELES (AP) — On Wednesday, prosecutors stated that a man from Mississippi had been harassing Jennifer Aniston for a period of two years prior to this point.

One of “Friends” star’s residences in Los Angeles has had someone charged with felony stalking and vandalism.
Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, 48, of New Albany, Mississippi, also faces an aggravating circumstance of the threat of great bodily harm, Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman said.
Carwyle, who has remained in custody since being arrested on Monday, is scheduled for arraignment this upcoming Thursday. The court has set his bail amount at $150,000. It wasn’t immediately known whether he has obtained legal representation yet.
Carwyle is alleged to have harassed repetitively.

On Monday afternoon, in the affluent Bel Air area of Los Angeles, Carwyle plowed his car into her front gate, resulting in significant destruction, according to prosecutors. He was halted by a security guard in her driveway prior to the arrival of law enforcement officers who then took him into custody.
The police stated that Aniston was at her residence when the incident occurred. No injuries were reported according to available information. Attempts to reach out for comments via messages sent to her representatives did not yield an immediate response.
Carlyle could get up to three years in prison if he is convicted as charged.
“My office is committed to aggressively prosecuting those who stalk and terrorize others, ensuring they are held accountable,” Hochman said in a statement.
Aniston bought the midcentury mansion on a 3.4-acre lot for about $21 million in 2012, according to reporting by Architectural Digest.
She became one of the biggest stars in television in her 10 years on NBC’s “Friends.”
Aniston received an Emmy Award.
