MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) – Minot Police say two people were arrested for child endangerment after two of their children tested positive for methamphetamine.

According to a report from Minot PD, they were asked to assist Child Protective Services on March 20 with removing three children, ranging in age from an infant to two years old, from a hotel.

In the report, investigators say hair follicle tests on two of the three children revealed the presence of methamphetamine, and a test could not be conducted on the third child due to hair length.

According to the report, the children’s parents, a 41-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman from Minot, admitted to using methamphetamine in the children’s presence.

Police say the couple were arrested April 25 and charged with three felony counts each of child endangerment.
