Teen Arrested After Fake Gun Incident at Stadium Raises Alarm

A 15-year-old boy received a warning from law enforcement after reportedly being discovered with a knife and an imitation weapon near Marvel Stadium in Melbourne.

The police mentioned that the teenager went towards an entrance gate on Bourke Street around 4:30 PM on Saturday. However, they became suspicious of him as it turned out he did not possess a ticket for the AFL game.

A subsequent search allegedly uncovered a small knife and an imitation gun. The teen was stopped before entering the venue.

He was issued an official caution, and police confirmed he did not gain access to the stadium.

On Saturday afternoon, Essendon faced off against the Sydney Swans at Marvel Stadium, drawing an audience of over 43,000 spectators as reported by Aus Stadiums.
